The Arch Research and Education Foundation is dedicated to enhancing cancer care by providing education and awareness to the general public, those affected by cancer and the health care profession. The Foundation supports clinical research designed to explore and validate cancer prevention modalities and treatment options both conventional and complementary / alternative.

	Provide educational forums for the general public to learn more about cancer research and awareness.
	Financially support local-based cancer research programs and clinical trials.
	Maintain the needs of cancer patients, their families and friends by offering emotional support programs.
	Financially support educational advancements of Oncology nurses in the St. Louis area.

Terms:

Qualifications:

1. Each Director must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the AREF service region (St. Louis Metro Area)
2. Each Director must be able to support the AREF by participating in the planning and creation of fundraising events, generation of new financial sponsors and management of best practices as established by AREF.
3. Each Director must have demonstrated a personal interest and concern for our mission of cancer education, prevention and awareness.
4. Each Director must have demonstrated an ability to devote the time necessary to fulfill Board responsibilities and regularly attend meetings.
